Despite the contradiction of popular knowledge that has dominated this election season, it's fun to take a look at SurveyUSA's latest state-by-state survey, which adds up electoral college allocations. It puts both Obama and Clinton on top, though some of the margins in both races are perilous.
Nonetheless, my takeaway: Obama adds blue states to the map Democrats could never have imagined in 2000 or 2004. Clinton puts Democrats in a too-close-for-comfort race in Michigan, and the same do or die battle for Florida that hasn't worked out so well in the past two elections...
